Cristina and Antoine’s wedding was a magical celebration which brought together 44 of the couple’s closest friends and family for a beautiful ceremony and stylish drinks reception inside Tower Bridge, in September 2024.
The couple exchanged vows in the intimate and romantic North Tower Lounge in the early evening, before stepping outside to have their photographs taken with the Bridge, the River Thames and the iconic London skyline as their backdrop. Then, as the sun set, the celebration moved up to the West Walkway, where guests enjoyed drinks, oysters, canapés, cake and live music while taking in spectacular views of the Thames and the twinkling city lights.
HOW We Made It Happen
To create an unforgettable experience, our team ensured every detail was meticulously planned and executed.
Elegant Styling: For the drinks reception in the West Walkway, we installed a central bar, then spread linen-dressed poseur tables around the venue, decorated with candles and sustainable flowers from Ett Hem.
Premium Bar: A well-stocked bar was set up with Champagne and premium glassware, while a dedicated dispense table ensured smooth service throughout the evening.
Creative Canapés & Bowl Foods: Guests were treated to a selection of Social Pantry’s beautifully presented seasonal canapés, followed by a carefully curated bowl food menu, designed to be both delicious and effortlessly enjoyed while mingling.
Oyster Station: A personalised touch and special request from the bride and groom, we set up a dedicated oyster station serving Maldon Rock Oysters with a variety of accompaniments.
Kid’s Food Station: A specially curated kids’ food station ensured younger guests were catered for with mini sandwiches, savoury rolls, and fresh salads.
Crèche Area: The Little Wedding Crèche team created a dedicated space for children to enjoy themselves comfortably while parents mingled, including a play mat, table, and chairs.
Live Music: We organised Velvet Entertainment to supply both a violinist and saxophonist to play in turns throughout the evening, creating an enchanting atmosphere as guests sipped drinks high above the Thames.
Smooth Logistics: From a well-organised cloakroom to discreet yet attentive front of house staff, every element was in place to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for the couple and their guests.
TheMenu
To kick off the drinks reception at 6:30, guests could help themselves to freshly shucked Maldon Oysters with a range of toppings including Lemon, Shallot Mignonette, Tabasco, and Pickled Cucumber and Horseradish.
To enjoy alongside the oysters, the Social Pantry team served a selection of drinks from their central bar, including Brut Millésime Charles Heidsieck Champagne, a selection of wines and beers, and Social Pantry’s housemade Elderflower Spritz as well as still and sparkling water and non-alcoholic drinks options.
Shortly after the drinks reception began, the Social Pantry team began to circulate a range of their show-stopping seasonal canapés, hand-picked by the bride and groom. These included Globe Artichoke and Chive Arancini with Aioli; Scallop Ceviche with Yuzu Dressing, Chilli and Radish; and Mini Beef Burger in a Brioche Bun with Baby Gem, Pickles and English Mustard Mayo.
We followed the canapés with a selection of heartier bowl foods to keep hunger at bay as guests continued to soak up the views, music and romantic atmosphere of the evening. These included Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Fennel and Cabbage Slaw topped with Black Garlic Mayo, and Poached Market Fish with Two Fields Olive Oil Mash and Seaweed Butter.
